Little Women's Eliza Scanlen headlines this drama from down under.
Following her breakout as one of the March sisters in Greta Gerwig's Little Women, Eliza Scanlen takes the lead role in Shannon Murphy's directorial debut Babyteeth. Scanlen plays Milla, a teenager with a life-threatening condition determined to live life on her own terms. The film also stars Toby Wallace, Essie Davis and Ben Mendelsohn.
Babyteeth is on US VOD June 19th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
When seriously ill teenager Milla falls madly in love with smalltime drug dealer Moses, it’s her parents’ worst nightmare. But as Milla’s first brush with love brings her a new lust for life, things get messy and traditional morals go out the window. Milla soon shows everyone in her orbit – her parents, Moses, a sensitive music teacher, a budding child violinist, and a disarmingly honest, pregnant neighbour – how to live like you have nothing to lose. What might have been a disaster for the Finlay family instead leads to letting go and finding grace in the glorious chaos of life. Babyteeth joyously explores how good it is not to be dead yet and how far we will go for love.
"Kristen Stewart is excellent, making up for a script that concentrates more on showing us what Seberg did and said rather than what she felt."— 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕧𝕚𝕖 đť•Žđť•’đť•—đť•—đť•ťđť•–đť•Ł (@themoviewaffler) May 6, 2020
