New trailer and artwork for Blumhouse's big screen reboot of the cult '70s TV show.
Fantasy Island was a cult TV show that ran for seven seasons in the late 1970s and early '80s. Using the anthology format of two stories per episode, the show's premise saw guests arrive at an island where their fantasies were purported to be granted. Things usually took a twist however.
Blumhouse are bringing Fantasy Island to the big screen this February, amping up the horror aspect of the original series with a group of guests battling for their lives as they attempt to escape the island.
The role of wishmaster Mr Roarke, originally played by Ricardo Montalban, now goes to Michael Peña, with Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Austin Stowell also starring.
Fantasy Island is in UK/ROI cinemas February 14th.

The official synopsis reads:
In Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.
