The French period thriller comes to UK DVD and digital in October.
Director Jean-François Richet reteams with his Mesrine star Vincent Cassel for historical thriller The Emperor of Paris.
Cassel plays François Vidocq, considered the world's first private detective and the father of modern criminology, who finds himself an enemy of both the Prisian police and the city's criminal underworld. Olga Kurylenko, Freya Mavor and August Diehl also star.

The official synopsis reads:
Poldark meets Games of Thrones in this epic historical action thriller focused on the dramatic Parisienne underworld battles that occurred during the Napoleonic early 1800’s.
