First look at director Tony D'Aquino's FrightFest bound thriller.
If horror movies have taught us anything it's that the Australian countryside should be avoided at all costs, and director Tony D'Aquino's survival thriller The Furies isn't going to change that perception.
The movie stars Airlie Dodds as a young woman who finds herself among a group of female abductees now forced to fight their lives against a gang of masked men.
The Furies will receive its UK premiere at Frighfest on August 25th, followed by a Digital HD release on September 16th.
Check out the trailer below.
The official synopsis reads:
Rebellious high school students Kayla and her best friend Maddie are abducted by a sinister presence while out bombing their neighbourhood with graffiti. Waking up in a forest, bound and disoriented in a coffin-like apparatus, it becomes clear a masked man with an axe is hellbent on pursuing her to the death. But she’s not alone. There are six more victims each assigned a maniac stalker and implanted with retinal cameras so every moment of terror is recorded. However Kayla’s killer instinct is now unleashed and she does whatever it takes to survive and seek bloody revenge on her kidnappers.
