A trio of new clips from the upcoming thriller.
The snowmageddon that has wreaked havoc on the UK and Ireland scuppered TMW's plans to catch Thoroughbreds at the Audi Dublin Film Festival, one of our most anticipated of the fest.
For now we'll have to settle for three new clips, in which we see Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy's characters set their devious plot in motion.
The feature debut of writer/director Cory Finley stars Cooke and Taylor-Joy as two rich teens who hatch a nefarious plan to solve their respective problems. The movie features one of the final performances of the late Anton Yelchin.
Thoroughbreds will be released in UK/ROI cinemas April 6th by Universal.
The official synopsis reads:
Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart. Lily has turned into a polished, upper-class teenager, with a fancy boarding school on her transcript and a coveted internship on her resume; Amanda has developed a sharp wit and her own particular attitude, but all in the process of becoming a social outcast. Though they initially seem completely at odds, the pair bond over Lily's contempt for her oppressive stepfather, Mark, and as their friendship grows, they begin to bring out one another's most destructive tendencies. Their ambitions lead them to hire a local hustler, Tim, and take matters into their own hands to set their lives straight.
