Most Sherlock Holmes fans would agree that the greatest big screen adaptation is the classic series of 14 films starring Basil Rathbone as Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. As well as portraying the famous duo onscreen, Rathbone and Bruce played the characters in a popular radio serial, 'The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes', which ran from 1939 to 1947, airing weekly on Mondays from 8.30pm to 9.00pm. 220 episodes were recorded before Rathbone departed to be replaced by Tom Conway. Sadly, most of the episodes no longer exist but here, for your listening pleasure, are 32 of the best episodes featuring the immortal duo.
