Directed by Just Philippot and co-written with Yacine Badday,
Acid is an apocalyptic thriller that sees France beset by a
heatwave that brings forth deadly acid rain. The film focusses on an
estranged family's attempts to survive the catastrophe.
Guillaume Canet, Laetitia Dosch, Patience Munchenbach, Marie Jung
and Martin Verset star.
Acid is in French cinemas from September 20th. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
During a heat wave, strange clouds start pouring down acid rain, wreaking devastation and panic throughout France. In a world teetering on the edge, a girl and her divorced parents must join forces to confront and try to escape this climate catastrophe.
