Directed by Jessica M. Thompson, The Invitation stars
Nathalie Emmanuel as an American woman who takes a DNA test and
learns she's related to members of the British aristocracy. Travelling to
England, she discovers her family are literal bloodsuckers.
As revealed in the below trailer, The Invitation features a
character named Jonathan Harker? Is this simply a nod to Bram Stoker or
will a certain Count make an appearance?
The film also stars Thomas Doherty, Hugh Skinner, Sean Pertwee, Courtney Taylor, Alana
Boden
and Stephanie Corneliussen.
The Invitation is in UK/ROI cinemas from August 26th.

The official synopsis reads:
After the death of her mother and having no other known relatives, Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel) takes a DNA test…and discovers a long-lost cousin she never knew she had.
