Director Van Ditthavong's thriller All Roads to Pearla follows the noir template with a femme fatale seducing an unwitting protagonist and inveigling him in a plot to free her from a toxic relationship. In this case it's a high school wrestler (Alex MacNicoll) who finds himself falling for a drifter (Addison Timlin) when he becomes her escort driver. Things are complicated by her violent boyfriend.
