With the complete and unrestricted reopening of cinemas appearing to be quite a distance away, more and more movies are cashing in their chips and going straight to VOD. The latest is director Nisha Ganatra's music industry drama The High Note, now headed for VOD later this month.
The film stars Dakota Johnson as Maggie, who longs to leave behind her job as personal assistant to music star Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross) and persue her dream of becoming a music producer. Kelvin Harrison Jr., Zoë Chao, Ice Cube, Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard and June Diane Raphael also star.
The High Note is on UK/ROI VOD May 29th.

Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis, a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights.
