New trailer for the Kiwi filmmaker's latest comedy.

Bound to court controversy is New Zealand writer/director Taika Waititi's latest. Set in Germany during WWII, Jojo Rabbit tells the story of Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis), a young boy who is so besotted by the Third Reich that his imaginary friend takes the form of Adolf Hitler (Waititi). When he learns that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their home, Jojo must question his allegiances. Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson also star.

Jojo Rabbit is in UK/ROI cinemas January 3rd, 2020.

Check out the new trailer below.

The official synopsis reads:

Writer director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
