A reboot of Charles Band's classic horror franchise, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich boasts a script from no less than S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk; Brawl in Cell Block 99) and is being released in UK cinemas on the same day as Zahler's Dragged Across Concrete. The film is co-directed by Tommy Wiklund and Sonny Laguna (Wither; Blood Runs Cold).

Presented by Fangoria, The Littlest Reich's horror credentials are also boosted by a score from legendary Italian composer Fabio Frizzi and the presence of genre icon Barbara Crampton. The cast also includes Thomas Lennon, Jenny Pellicer, Nelson Franklin, Charlyne Yi, Michael Paré, Udo Kier and Skeeta Jenkins.

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich is in UK cinemas April 19th.

The official synopsis reads:

When recently divorced Edgar (Thomas Lennon) returns to his childhood home he finds a nefarious looking puppet and decides to sell the doll for a quick buck. Bringing along his new girlfriend Ashley (Jenny Pellicer) and nerdy pal Markowitz (Nelson Franklin), Edgar heads on a doomed road trip to a puppet auction celebrating the 30th anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. But all hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets at the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree motivated by an evil as old as time.
