The Irish chiller comes to UK/ROI cinemas in March.
Set for its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, director Lee Cronin's feature debut The Hole in the Ground stars Séana Kerslake as a young woman who comes to fear her son may be under the influence of an evil presence emanating from a nearby forest.
James Quinn Markey, James Cosmo, Simone Kirby, Steve Wall and Kati Outinen also star.
The Hole in the Ground is in UK/ROI cinemas March 1st.

The official synopsis reads:
Trying to escape her broken past, Sarah O’Neill (Séana Kerslake) is building a new life on the fringes of a backwood rural town with her young son Chris (James Quinn Markey). A terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbour shatters her fragile security, throwing Sarah into a spiralling nightmare of paranoia and mistrust, as she tries to uncover if the disturbing changes in her little boy are connected to an ominous sinkhole buried deep in the forest that borders their home.
