First look at the upcoming slasher sequel.
After debuting in US cinemas last month, the first trailer for slasher sequel Happy Death Day 2U has finally arrived online.
2017's Happy Death Day caught us by surprise, ending up as one of our favourite movies of last year, an ingenious horror twist on the Groundhog Day template that cleverly subverted the 'Final Girl' trope.
The sequel sees Jessica Rothe return as reluctant heroine Tree, who finds herself once again forced to relive her birthday multiple times when a masked slasher kills her over and over again. Writer/director Christopher Landon is back on board too.
Happy Death Day 2U is in UK/ROI cinemas February 15th.
