First look at the war movie with a supernatural twist.
Originally thought to be the next instalment in the Cloverfield franchise due to the involvement of producer J.J. Abrams, Overlord has been kept tightly under wraps, with little in the way of plot details released.
An official synopsis has yet to be issued, but the first trailer gives us some idea of the plot. Taking place the night before the D-day landings, Overlord sees a group of American paratroopers run into Nazi experiments in a small French village.
The film is directed by Julius Avery and stars Bokeem Woodbine, Wyatt Russell, Pilou Asbæk, Iain De Caestecker and Helene Cardona.
Overlord is in UK/ROI cinemas October 25th.
