The boogeyman is coming!
The official trailer for director David Gordon Green's Halloween arrives on Friday, and to whet your appetite a brief teaser promo has been released, along with three new images courtesy of USA Today.
Ignoring the sequels, Green's film picks up the action 40 years after that fateful night in Haddonfield, with Michael Myers returning to his hometown to complete some unfinished business. Waiting for him is Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), who has prepared herself for his inevitable return. The cast also includes Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner and Nick Castle returning to the role of Myers.
Halloween is in UK/ROI cinemas October 19th.
The official synopsis reads:
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
