Barbie she ain't!
Previously known simply as Annabelle 2, the retitled Annabelle: Creation, which hits UK/ROI cinemas August 11th, explores the origins of the inanimate antagonist of the Conjuring franchise. With Lights Out director David Sandberg at the helm, this trailer gives us hope it will be an improvement on Annabelle's previous solo outing.
The official synopsis reads:
In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
