Launching as a crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter.com on August 1, 2014, and running through September 30, 2014, backers of the project will earn votes toward the film’s genre, plot, characters and more.

For as little as a $1 pledge, backers can literally Name This Movie by casting a vote on the film’s title. For higher pledges, backers will be able to vote on the main character’s gender, the villain’s motive, the type of love story, the genre of the movie and more. Backers can watch updates of the film’s process, as well as the final movie they helped create on the big or small screen.

In addition to casting votes on the content of the film, backers can also select special experiences—tickets to events, visits to the set, apprenticeships on the film—and cool swag—posters, mugs, and even one-of-a-kind props.
