Written and directed by Ash Avildsen (Paradise City), Queen of the Ring tells the story of wrestler Mildred Burke (Emily Bett Rickards), who became the world's first million dollar female athlete and the longest reigning champion in women's wrestling. Avildsen is the son of director John G. Avildsen, who made two of the most iconic fight movies in Rocky and The Karate Kid.
The film also stars Josh Lucas, Tyler Posey, Francesca Eastwood, Cara Buono, Deborah Ann Woll, Damaris Lewis, Gavin Casalegno and Walton Goggins.
Queen of the Ring is in UK cinemas from September 19th and VOD from October 13th.
