This Spring is going to be a nightmare for arachnophobes. In May we get
Sting
in cinemas but before then there's creepy crawly action coming to Shudder in
April.
Directed by Sébastien Vaniček and co-written by Florent Bernard, Infested sees the residents of a
French apartment block fighting for their lives when a venomous spider
reproduces, turning the building into a deadly web.
The film stars Théo Christine, Finnegan Oldfield, Jérôme Niel, Sofia Lesaffre and
Lisa Nyarko.
Infested is on Shudder from April 26th.

The official synopsis reads:
Kaleb is about to turn 30 and has never been lonelier. He’s fighting with his sister over an inheritance and has cut ties with his best friend. Fascinated by exotic animals, he finds a venomous spider in a shop and brings it back to his apartment. It only takes a moment for the spider to escape and reproduce, turning the whole building into a dreadful web trap. The only option for Kaleb and his friends is to find a way out and survive.
