Written by Darach McGarrigle, Double Blind is the directorial
debut of Ian Hunt-Duffy. The film stars Millie Brady as a
young woman who takes part in an experimental drug trial. Things take a
dark turn when she and the other test subjects find that the drug has a
deadly side effect that requires them to stay awake in order to avoid
death.
Pollyanna McIntosh, Akshay Kumar, Abby Fitz and
Kate Ashfield also star.
Double Blind is in Irish cinemas from February 9th. A UK
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
DOUBLE BLIND follows seven young test subjects who must face a terrifying side effect when an experimental drug trial goes horribly wrong – if you fall asleep you die. Trapped in an isolated medical facility, they must find a way to escape, and somehow manage to stay awake.
