Written and directed by Christopher Nolan,
Oppenheimer stars Cillian Murphy as physicist J.
Robert Oppenheimer, known as "the father of the atomic bomb," and charts
the race to create a weapon that will end WWII. The film is based on the
Pulitzer Prize-winning book 'American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy
of J. Robert Oppenheimer' by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.
The film also stars Emily Blunt, Robert Downey, Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh,
Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett and Kenneth Branagh.
Oppenheimer is in UK/ROI cinemas from July 21st, 2023.
