Following
Piercing, Christopher Abbott once again finds himself in trouble with a
sex worker. Directed by Zachary Wigon and written by Micah Bloomberg, Sanctuary sees Abbott play the client of a dominatrix (Margaret Qualley) who doesn't take well to his desire to end their relationship. Over the
course of a night the pair engage in a battle for power.
Sanctuary is in US cinemas from May 19th. A UK/ROI release
has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
A wickedly dark comedy follows dominatrix, Rebecca, and her wealthy client, Hal, as they engage in a high stakes role playing game for power and control. In the wake of inheriting his father’s hotel chain, Hal attempts to end his long and secret relationship with Rebecca. A battle of wills ensues over the course of one incredibly fraught night, with both Rebecca and Hal struggling to keep the upper hand as the power dynamics swing wildly back and forth.
