Director Adam Robitel's 2019 thriller
Escape Room
took advantage of the then craze for real life escape rooms, where players
are trapped in a confined space and forced to complete various tasks to
"escape". Given the current state of the world, taking part in such group
events sounds like the stuff of fantasy, but a sequel is on the way.
Robitel returns for Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, which once again sees a group of six people stuck in a very sinister
escape room. This one sees Taylor Russell and
Logan Miller return from the original, joined by Indya Moore, Holland Roden, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero.
Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is in UK/ROI cinemas
this summer.
