The silent thriller comes to UK blu in February.

German filmmaker Paul Leni's final film was the 1928 thriller The Last Warning. A silent adaptation of Thomas F. Fallon’s 1922 Broadway play, itself based on Wadsworth Camp's short story 'The House of Fear', the film sees the cast and crew of a play dealing with the legacy of an unsolved murder that occurred during an earlier production of the work. The film stars Universal’s leading lady of the era, Laura La Plante.

Newly restored in 4K, The Last Warning will make its UK blu-ray on February 15th when it will be released by Eureka Entertainment.

Special features include a new score by composer Arthur Barrow; a new audio commentary with horror and fantasy authors Stephen Jones and Kim Newman; a video essay by film historian and author John Soister; and a stills gallery. It also comes with a collector's booklet featuring a new essay by Philip Kemp and a short essay by composer Barrow on his score for the film. The first 2000 copies come with a limited edition slipcase.
