First look at director Julius Berg's twist on the home invasion genre.
In the fashion of Don't Breathe, Julius Berg's directorial debut The Owners is a home invasion thriller in which the tables are turned on the invaders. Maisie Williams stars as a young woman who agrees to go along with her boyfriend and his friend to break into a home occupied by a seemingly harmless old couple played by former Doctor Who star Sylvester McCoy and Rita Tushingham. Once inside they find this is no ordinary pair of pensioners. Jake Curran, Ian Kenny and Andrew Ellis also star.
The Owners is on US VOD September 4th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
A group of friends think they found the perfect easy score – an empty house with a safe full of cash. But when the elderly couple that lives there comes home early the tables are suddenly turned. As a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues the would-be thieves are left to fight to save themselves from a nightmare they could never have imagined.
