You may not want to admit it, but personally, if I can, I would certainly
like to travel to a real-life movie setting for a get away. I don't know
about you, but I personally would like to spend a week or two in places
like Canto Bight, that beautiful far-off coastal location seen in the Star
Wars: The Last Jedi. Neither would I reject an offer to holiday Blade
Runner 2049's Los Angeles circa 2048. The wonderful team at
betway have compiled
an ultimate movie mini-breaks from several big-screen blockbusters and
have come up with an estimate of how much ( in real terms ) it will cost
to visit some of these awesome places.
The Overlook Hotel – as seen in The Shining – cost to stay:
£2575.37

Okay, this is a scary place, but it is certainly big, with tons of
spaces and a killer views of the unbelievable Colorado Mountains and not
forgetting all the glamour and charm it comes with. Overlook Hotel as
seen in the Shining is really a very creepy place to stay, a place that
instils fear upon it guests. Overlook hotel is a place that is so hidden
in the winter which makes it a good place for a getaway from the hustle
and bustle of the real world. However, a getaway at overlook hotel is
according to betway not cheap. But again, not as expensive as Canto
Bight - which we will discuss below.
Canto Bight – as seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi – cost to stay:
£219464.25
The most costly is Canto Bight. According to Betway's findings, a trip
to Canto Bight will cost as much as 100 times what it will cost to
make the same trip to overlook hotel as featured in the shining.
Betway reckons your stay at Canto Bight is likely to cost as much as
£219464.25. Canto Bight is described as a beautiful, golden and very
glamorous coastal city located on the planet of Cantonica. Cantonica
is said to be the home to the most classy casino in our galaxy. Betway
used the five star hotels in Monte Carlo in Monaco as a yard stick in
coming up with the possible figures.
Wakanda – as seen in Black Panther – cost to stay: £1096.36
Okay, maybe you can't afford places like Overlook hotel overlook hotel
or Canto Bight and you don't mind space travelling, then how about a
trip to Wakanda as seen in the Chadwick Boseman move Black Panther. A
staycation at Wakanda will set you back £1000 per person but although
not as expensive as most of the other places discussed in here, it is
still a very cool place for a staycation. Betway was able to come up
with this cost using real-world equivalent, which was Nairobi.
Los Angeles 20149 – as seen in Blade Runner 2049 – cost to stay:
£1131.82
Another place worthy checking out is the futuristic world inhabited by
Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford in the superb sci-fi sequel Blade
Runner 2049 – as seen in Blade Runner 2049 which reportedly costs
£1131.82 per person. The calculations for this was arrived at by
looking at flights both in and out of Los Angeles with costs of food
and drinks also taken into according based on the modern day Tokyo -
in a bid to stay in line with the themes of Blade Runner 2049.
Other places Betway also looked at Hogsmeade – as seen in Harry Potter
& The Prisoner of Azkaban and Isla Nublar – as seen in Jurassic
Park as well as many other persons.
