Few directors are so heavily associated with film noir as Fritz Lang. One of his late noir gems, 1958's Human Desire makes its global blu-ray premiere when Eureka Entertainment release it in a  dual format package on February 11th.

Lang had worked with stars Glenn Ford and Gloria Grahame on 1957's The Big Heat, and he recast the pair for the following year's Human Desire, in which Ford plays a train engineer who gets caught up in a murderous web involving Grahame and her abusive husband (Broderick Crawford). Lang's film was adapted from the same Émile Zola novel previously filmed by Jean Renoir as 1938's La Bête humaine.

The disc includes a new and exclusive interview with film historian Tony Rayns while the package comes with a booklet featuring new writing on the film alongside rare archival imagery.
