Back in 2016 a concept trailer hit the web for a planned sci-fi actioner named Laserpope. Now a brand new teaser has been unveiled for the film, currently in production.

The official synopsis reads:
When beloved priest Alessandro is surprisingly elected youngest pope in catholic history he soon starts revolutionizing and rejuvenating the archaic antiquated church system. After a shocking attempt on his life – knocking on the gates of heaven – the youngling can only be resurrected with help of a robotic exo-suit. Now walking the back alleys of Rome as super-weaponized LASERPOPE, he can no longer preach departure from all violence but finds himself in an apocalyptic battle against infernal forces lurking deep within the Vatican. Most sacrilegious he cleans house and church – one laser-beam at a time.
